- Champions of Big Eight Conference ('19-'20) - 1st ever in Men's Charger Basketball history
- Back-to-Back 3A NCHSAA State Playoff - Sweet 16 appearances ('18-'19 & '19-'20)
- 1st time ever hosting 4 playoff games in school history!
- 1st ever 3A NCHS Men's Basketball Final Four appearance ('19-'20)
- Congrat's to Aaron Ross and Jalen McAfee on being selected to the East vs West All-Star Game. This is only the the 2nd time a NHS Charger Men's Basketball player has been selected to the team!
- Congrat's to Deuce Powell and Aaron Ross for scoring their 1,000th point during '19-'20 season
- Congrat's to these 3 seniors on receiving college scholarships: Deuce Powell (Louisburg Community College), Jalen McAfee (Cape Fear Community College), and Aaron Ross (Davidson Community College)

National Rank: 2893 State (NC) Rank: 105 Congrats to Coach Brown and the Men's Basketball team for advancing to the 3rd Round of the NCHSAA playoff's! The men’s basketball team lost in [the sweet 16] game 58-52 in a hard fought game with Northern Nash. We wanted to thank everyone for their support coming to the game to show that CHARGER PRIDE!!! Proud moments deserve a BiG SHOUT OUT and remind us how fortunate we are to have great kids at Northwood. Thanks Coach Brown and the team for some memories we will look forward to next year’s run to a state championship!
