Pitch Please, NHS a cappella ensemble,won the 2014 Mix 101.5 Christmas Choir Competition!
Thank you to everyone who voted and continues to support our NHS programs.
The Music Department received $5,000 for winning the contest. Thanks as well to students, faculty, staff, and community members everywhere from Bennett to Moncure (and all the schools in between) who voted for their peers!

In 2012 and 2014, Northwood placed in the KRIS wine/Americans for the Arts Arts of Education Contest
In 2014, NHS received $1000 for the Northwood Arts Education program.
The ONLY NC school in the winners list and also one of the only high schools.
